Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”, “Agreement”) carefully before using our website and services. By accessing our site or working with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
FluxWeb Studios provides web design and development services, including (but not limited to) website creation, redesigns, maintenance, and related digital services. A detailed scope of work will be outlined in a written proposal or contract before any project begins.
2. Quotes and Payments
- All quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- A deposit (typically 50%) is required before project work begins.
- Final payment is due upon project completion and before the final website or deliverables are transferred.
- Payments can be made via EFT.
Late payments may incur a fee of 10% per month.
3. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide all necessary materials (text, images, logos, etc.) in a timely manner
- Respond to feedback and approvals promptly
- Ensure they have proper rights/licenses for any content provided
Delays in content or communication may result in project delays or additional fees.
4. Revisions
Most packages include 2 rounds of revisions. Additional revisions may be billed at an hourly rate of [insert rate].
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, ownership of the completed website and content transfers to the client. FluxWeb Studios retains the right to display work in portfolios and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Any third-party assets (fonts, plugins, stock images) are subject to their respective licenses.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice. In the event of termination, the client will be billed for work completed up to that point.
Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed.
7. Limitation of Liability
We aim to deliver high-quality work, but FluxWeb Studios is not liable for:
- Losses or damages caused by website downtime, bugs, or third-party software
- Content provided by the client
- SEO performance or search engine ranking changes
All services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
